PS None of these issues had anything to do with my MS, which I didn't even know I had at the time :-)
It seems as though the radiologist reading your studies was more suspicious of blood vessel issues than neurological ones.
I am a veteran of spinal stenosis and disk herniation. Either or both of these can cause the tingling and head to toe pain you describe. They did in my case. I was lucky with my herniated disk. It broke in half on its own. This relieved the pressure on the nerves and no further treatment was required. No so lucky with my stenosis. That needed surgery, but all of my tingling and pain went away...

Thank you so much JJ! I'm going to take a deep breath, relax and try not to worry so much until I have further tests done :) Appreciate your feedback.
Hi there,
From what i understand which isn't much, the location of your lesion is one of the more common locations for ischemia. 'If' it was stroke related i'd be thinking because of it's size, it would be more along the line of a transient ischemic attack (TIA). Polyps in the maxillary sinuses are not related to MS or stroke, it's typically seen in people with allergies, asthma etc but mild spinal stenosis (C4-C6) and degenerative disc disease 'may' to some degree, actually explain any ongoing tingling etc.....sorry that's as much as I know.
Cheers.........JJ
Hello all :)
Thank you so much for your advice/info. I did go into my neurologist office very frustrated. I ended up getting some answers. Alot more than my visit the last time.
According to my results it says There is a focal linear area of hyperintense T2/Flair signal abnormality in left corona radiata measuring at 9mm in length, possibly area of ischemia. Most other is normal.
On top of this I have mild spinal stenosis is C4-C6 and degeneration of discs along with cysts/polyps in the maxillary sinuses bilaterally.
She did not discuss the spinal stenosis nor cysts/polyps only vaguely discussed the lesion.
If it were not for the fact that I have symptoms on a regular basis and some days so much worse than others...I would not be so concerned however with this being ongoing and getting these results I'm wondering what to do.
I did make another appointment with her for a week from now and I do have appointments made for a spinal tap and neuro psych evaluation.
Once again thank you so much to all of you. This has been a bit of a scary time for me and it means so much to me to get your feedback. I've read each comment and taken it into consideration.
I hope all of you are doing well and I wish I could have elaborated more on my first post. however my computer crashed and was writing off my tablet...which is never to fun for me :)
