I have had the opposite results. Radiologist didn't see the lesions but my neuro did. I have definate MS but my neuro pointed out lesions that the reader of the MRI missed.
In my case, I trusted the neuro's reading and was diagnosed in this way.
oops, see my experience post.
7/31 radiologist said consider MS...1st nuero said there were old lesions and it was a demlylenting disease but not comfortable saying definite MS...probably MS 2nd neuro at MS clinic said not MS, normal MRI did order repeat MRI
9/09 2ND MRI can't rule out demylenating disease, abnormal MRI....2nd neuro MS clinic, resident said pretty normal....head of dept said normal...but did say we are going to find out what this is.
Did you have the same experience?
Who do you believe. If the neuro is always right why have a radiologist read the images? I hope someone can answer that question.
I am like wobbly go figure. terry
I did... radiologist stated MS...Neuro said no...the a year later...Neuro said yes... so go figure..
anything is possible and you have to get the Dx from a Neuro..
