wondering if I might have ms

Hi all I have been having issues with extreme exhaustion, migraines, dizziness, the feeling of being there but not there, confusion, having a really hard time retaining anything I read or following along with conversations, I have anxiety about going out in public, I have a hard time getting the words out of my head. I have had a really bad back. I had back surgery back in 2004. within the last year I'm also having stiffness and pain in my upper back and shoulder area. My arms have become really weak at time with tremors in my arms and legs. My legs always wanna buckle on me when I am walking a short distance. I have become really clumsy. All the symptems besides my back pain started a couple years ago and are starting to really effect my everyday life. My mri's I had done a year ago showed moderate facet joint arthrosis at l4-5 and l5-7 left tarsal sacrralization of l-5, mild sclerosis at the pseudoarthrosis with sacrum. Supra-pedicle disc extrusion, apex into the left subarticular zone. This measures up to 6mm in radial dimension, indents the thecal sac and encroaches the l-5 nerve root, post contrast there is rim enhancement around dark signal/herniated nucleus pulposus. Could all these things be a sign of Ms? I am a 38 year old male. Any help would be awesome.

Hi and welcome,

You have over a decade long preexisting medical history of structural spinal issues, and as far as i understand your test evidence and symptoms would still corroborate that as the primary causation......there is nothing that you've mentioned that would be suggestive or a sign that you could have MS instead of, or as well as your preexisting structural spinal issues.

I would strongly suggest you consider consulting your doctor in regards to your acknowledged "anxiety about going out in public" because of the potential for this to become a serious mental health situation, it's definitely in your best interest to seek help and support sooner, rather than later!

Hope that helps.........JJ
