Matter Behind the Cerebellum

Hi there, I just recently had a MRI of my brain in January 2010 and I saw something that perked my curiosity. And, although I do have an appointment to see a neurologist for other reasons, it's still a couple months out from now. The thing that caught my eye was a bit of matter that appears to be an extension of the brain behind and almost below the cerebellum (see the photo I linked). I did have a brain injury in 2000 with multiple fractures, I was about 12 years old, walked in front of a pickup going 25-30 mph... though, I'm not sure if that's at all related to this. I was just wondering what it was (brain? cerebellum? cancer??), if its unusual or not, and what sort of effects it might have on my brain function. Any thoughts/speculation much appreciated!

Dear Friend,
Many thanks for posting via my forum. But i am not allowed to give my comments on the MRI films.
If you can type the MRI report, it would be better.
Also do tell me about the symptoms you are having, that made you do the MRI scan.
I would able to guide you better.
Regards
