Anxiety or something worse???? I need an answer pleeeease

I have been to my doctor for the past 4 months with extreme dizzyness, pressure all over my head, a feeling that im losing blood to my head(u knoe the feeling when u hang upside down), tightness in my neck and a headache that wont go away.  He told me I simply have anxiety, is it possible to have anxiety 24/7 for 4 months straight???  It doesnt go away, its not like in attacks, it is a constant thing.  I also feel dissoriented, if i go somewhere i feel like its all a dream.....I would love any answer!  thank you so much

Hi, you had it for so long, hence some investigations are needed. Get your blood pressure checked. Do you get fever too? This could be raised intracranial pressure, migraine, sinusitis etc. Consult doctor or neurologist for investigations. Try pain killers for 4-5 days, if no response is seen, do consult neurologist

I'm sorry to hear that you have to endure all of these.  It is always reasonable to ask for the opinion of another doctor if you are not convinced with one explanation.  Stress may play an important factor in everything that you are experiencing right now and I suggest you try to minimize stress as much as possible.  Also, has your blood pressure been checked lately?  Another explanation would be an increase in blood pressure.  Diabetes can also present with these symptoms.  Migraine is also a plausible explanation.  

Nevertheless, I think you should be worked up for the above conditions and to anymore else that your doctor might find.  Be sure to ask everything that comes to your mind when you have your consult, and make sure your doctor offers a convincing explanation.
