Arms burning and tingling

I had a fusion of C5-6, C6-7 done a couple of years ago and have recently developed some troubling symptoms.  My arms, from the elbows down to the tips of my fingers, have started burning and tingling and often feel numb.  The symptoms seem worse when lying down.  Sometimes, but not always, I'll try to write something and find it's difficult.  My hands also fall asleep a lot more often.  I also have weakness in my left leg, and have noticed that when I sit indian style for a while, my legs fall asleep, and are very spastic when I try to walk.  I've been told I have spondylosis with myelopathy.  Are these symptoms consistent with worsening myelopathy?  I've also been told I have a kyphotic angulation above my fusion at C4.  Should I be concerned?  Do these new symptoms warrant a call to my NS?  Thanks in advance for your help.

They certainly could be representative of a worsening myelopathy. If everything came on suddenly then you definitely should seek medical attention on a semi-urgent basis. But if it's been slowly progressing, it could just be due to arthritic or degenerative changes with time/age. Either way, with these new symptoms you should be examined by the surgeon and possibly reimaged with MRI to make sure everything that was done prior is ok and that nothing new has happened. Good luck.
