Bad infection, high anxiety

2 months ago I had a dangerous infection in the ENT area, that has started just with tahicardia and just after two weeks my neck ganglia and salivary glands swollen due to this.At that time i started the treatment with 3 types of antibiotics at the doctor's recomandation, but after the treatment finished i felt a facial sensation change in the optalmic area: a sort of numbness wich i felt just at temperature changes, but was not the lost of sensation. In this time, i felt easy tickling in my left foot sole. Two weeks after this my eyes started to see double images, just at high contrast or the lights in night, each eye separately, the neurologist said that my diplopia is monocular(pinhole test cleared the image, no nerve plasy was present)and sent me to ophtalmology, where i discovered the myopic astigmatism: -1,75 left eye and -1,5 right eye and prescribed me cylindrical lenses. Two weeks after wearing glasses, the refraction problem was not corrected so I have visited second neurologist that re-assured me that is nothing wrong, but to be sure I shoult have a CT of my head because a brain swolle could be at the time of the infection, but just a vasodilator was prescribed. The CT image was perfectly normal, now there are two weeks after imaging, the eye condition improoved, but not fully recovered, also I'm conscious about my high level of anxiety due to the things I have read on the internet. I'm afraid that something can be with the brainstem. The facial numbness has vanished, the vision is better, but without glasses still doubles, I stil feel some moments of tickling in my left foot. The CT scan could be wrong and could be some abnormalities in my brainstem?
