Bubbling in my Spine

For about a year and a half now, I've had this strange sensation in my spine. It happens at the back of my head and travels down to the top of my neck. The only way I know how to describe it is that it feels like a bottle of pop being shaken and fizzing in my spine. I can hear the bubbles when it happens. This usually happens when i adjust my orientation, for instance standing up or laying down. I have asked my family doctor what this could be, but we couldn't get the bubbles to happen on command. Lately things have been getting worse. When I sit or stand too suddenly, my vision turns grey and I'm disoriented for a moment or two. I can also feel a pressure in my spine above my neck when this happens.
I'm also 400 miles away from my home, attending collage in a very unpopulated area and I would like to find out all I can about this before I go to a health clinic and have to pay out the wazzoo for them to refer me to somewhere 5 or so hours from here. Thank you for your time.
