Can Botox &/or Juvederm cause Trigeminal Neuralgia

I developed Trigeminal Neuralgia 3 weeks after my first botox treatmemt (forehead, crowsfeet and frown lines) and 5 days after juvederm put into nasolabial folds, chin and lower cheek.  Is it possible these treatments could have caused the TN?  I have it on both sides and it is an aching pain. Started in one jaw then moved to all teeth, then a few weeks later into sinuses, and head bones, and now pain is in eye area and my entire face and head.  I had considerable swelling above the nasolabial fold after the treatments, but now still slightly puffy even 2 months afterward. The juvederm is the long-lasting one year kind, but appears to have drifted a bit.  I am wondering if it could be pressing on a nerve or if the botox could have somehow caused the pain.  The manufacturer, Allergan, naturally, says this does not happen.  I am in severe pain and unable to get relief except when asleep.  Pain meds taken so far are not helping.  I am also a cancer survivor and single mom with 2 kids at home so I need some answers. Thank you.

I have the sane problem too.  Had botox and profhio and 4 days later I've got terrible nerve pain in the right side. Been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. I'm wondering if the injections caused it...
I have had botox and profhilo a few times before and was ok..
Did you find out ?

I have the same thing that has happened after having botox and Profhilo. This is 5 injections in each side of the face.  I have terrible pain all on the right side. In my eye, cheek, temple, jaw, ear and teeth. All like TN symptoms ... did you get any answers?

I know this post is really old. but i also got Trigemenal Neuralgia for the first time, in 2015 a couple months after my first botox & juvederm treatment. i definitely think fillers can trigger and cause TN. all these years later and i’m still getting TN flare ups. i’m having a bad one today

I still have my trigeminal nerve pain but it’s mostly under control by medication with occasional flare ups.
Do you think the botox caused it then ? Have you had botox or fillers again ? What meds are you on ?
Did it get better for you over time
I have the same thing happened last month after filler
I had filler under my left eye and on my left side of my lip about 10 weeks ago.   my lip was so swollen and bruised.  My whole left side of my face was numb including my nose all the way to my ear but I could still move it.  Felt like I had been to the dentist.  The numbness is still there but mostly on the side of my cheek into my ear.  The last several days I have had severe pain on that  side of my face.  I don't think I will do filler again and I hope that this resolves.
