Can this be still Parkinson's???

After many stresses in my life,I started to notice left hand shake when I would hold paper, etc & was more agressive in rest position. My left arm muscles are sore, & feel like I have just lifted 1,000 lbs. of weight. I am 41,& have been healthy until recently having high blood pressure. A MRI of spine showed a pinched nerve/2 herniated discs in C5-6, C6-7 area & I was referred to a neurologist. Many doctors have said shaking not from pinched nerve. An x-ray showed normal neck curve of spine was actually straight. A nerve conduction test showed normal. The shaking in hand slowed down after visits to PT(electric stem, massage, exercise). Based on the normal TSH, T3, and T4 your thyroid is functioning normal. The anti-thyroglobulin and thyroid peroxidase anti-bodies can be seen in normal people, and are more commonly seen in relatives of patients who have had auto-immune thyroid disease. They do not indicate disease, but may be a risk factor for developing thyroid disease. Without having the opportunity to examine you I can not confirm or deny the PD diagnosis. What I can tell you is that it commonly starts on one side of the body, has predominantly a restng tremor (but can have a postural component), and can occur at the age of 40. Since it is crucial to make an accurate diagnosis at this point, I would recommend having a second opinion with another movement disorder neurologist to confirm the diagnosis. I would recommend going to an academic center. If you are in the area, we have excellent physicians in our movement disorders sections. Good luck.

I also have these problems. I can't hold a coffee cup with one hand. My Doctor says they are Tremors. He can't tell me why I have them. I do have an Arachnoid Cyst, with a shunt. I wish someone could tell me something.

In my last comment I forgot to also include the fact that I have had headaches for the past 10 years or so. Very bad pain in and behind the eyes. Vertigo has been a problem for along time as well as seizures.  I have been on Lamictal for the past two years.I am at a loss as far as what else to do.
