Cystic Lesion

Hi!. I am a 48 year old female who was just diagnosed with a 4 mm focus of T2 Hyperintensity within the right side of temporal lobe..it is suspected that this lesion may be cystic in nature  but will be doing a 2nd MRI to be able to characterize its nature. There is no evidence of vestibulare schwannoma.. I am quite nervous and still waiting to hear for an appointment with Neurologist. What exactly does this mean?..

Thanks so much for the post.  I guess with my symptoms which are not a hundred percent clear in my questions..I was looking to see if the Dr. felt it is of concern. It is a cystic lesion but will be doing another more extensive MRI to determine its characteristics. I was alaso wondering if the small size could actualy contribute to my symptoms.I also have menieres and all these symptoms of lack fo stability..balance..speech..short memory ..numbness..pressure in back of head and neck pain..as well as ashoulders etc..Istarted after a severe attack in december. MRI did not show anything that would suggest it is my menieres. I have had it for 16 years and this is not my pattern at all.. But also wondered if neck..shoulder..problems could cause these same symptoms. Again I thank you for your post.
