My experience with vertigo led me to a neurootolaryngologist referral from my PCP. It was of the type BPPV which is easily corrected at home after training by a physician. It does come and go. Anxiety disorders can also result from and also be a cause for BPPV vertigo which is best determined by a physician specializing in neurology and ear, nose, and throat thus the neuro-otolaryngologist. Hope my personal experience with similar symptoms can help you. I also suggest you visit www.mayoclinic.com ans search BPPV for education on this BPPV condition. Also Wikipedia.com is helpful during research into possible causes and treatments for BPpV.

Thank you for your question. Although without being able to examine you I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis and treatment that you need, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern.

Generally, one sided headache & orbital pain (eye pain) with dizziness could be suggestive of migraine. In addition, migraine headache frequency increases with the depression & anxiety. If your doctor has diagnosed it as general anxiety disorder, counseling or psychotherapy, physiotherapy, treating related stress and avoidance of triggering factors by doing meditations/yoga can be helpful in recovering from the condition. Additionally, it will be helpful to keep the headache log where you can record and specifics the headaches, including how long they lasted, any triggering factors that she may have noticed. This will help your doctor to determine the nature of the headache and factors that causing the headaches, therefore what kind of treatment need to be started. Hope this information proves helpful to you.

Take Care & Regards!!!
