Dizziness and pressure behind eyes

For about 3-4 years I have had symptoms of being dizzy at times and a get pressure behind my eyes.  It comes on more so when I am run down and tired.  Kind of comes and goes somewhat...  Also if I bend over with my head pointed down - sometimes I get a lot of pressure and the feeling of passing out...  Seems to be coming on stronger lately... I am 43 years old and stay in very good shape.  I also had a head injury when I was 20 years old working on an oil rig that I am assuming is the likely culprit of this problem?  I was hit with a long steel rod on top of head and spent 5 days in hospital recovering.  Was no major damage - just stitches and a lot of headaches and some dizzyness at the time for about 6 months.  Wondering if this is coming back to haunt me?  Any advice would be great!  Thanks

On Feb. 1st I started to get dizzy.  The left side of my neck also is in pain. I feel pressure in both eyes. The vertigo is so bad that I need to put one foot on the floor when I lay down.  If I turn my head to the left the spinning is really bad, if I'm laying down at the time.  My doctor is prescribing Antivert , which I'm waiting to get in the mail. I really don't know what is going on here.

Thanks for the words... Actually I live in a high altitude (7200) very dry climate (Wyoming) and get 1-2 sinus infections per year....  I rarely get headaches (migraines) though.... I wonder now if my sinus problems are causing this?

Hi....this forum is a bit slow!  The only thing I have ever heard of where you feel worse bending over is sinus-type infections.....bar that migraines can cause eye pain and dizziness. So can MS. (I have both!)

Life's just grand sometimes!

I suggest seeing your doctor - maybe they can run some tests to rule things in or out.

Cheers.
