I hope you get an answer on this, esp about the birth control. I, too, had a cavernous hemaqngioma (basically what you have), but at a different part of the brain. I was under NO circumstance to have any hormones, though I do not know about the coil. If you do not get a response, you may want to cotact your OB-GYN.
Unfortunately, painkillers will not do anything. Docs will want to do an MRI every 6 mos - 1 yr. to monitor the malformation and make sure it doesn't grow. If it does or if causes you problems, surgery may be an option.
