Have you developed an RX induced movement disorder?

Have you developed uncontrollable twitching and jerking movements from any Rx drugs?  Rapid onset during introduction, is called acute dyskinesia. If you develop it after chronic use, it's called Tardive dyskinesia. There is also a type called Drug Emergent Syndrome, from sudden withdrawal from a drug.
I don't know why I was so sensitive to an Rx drug, that is used for many conditions, including nerve pain, which I had in my lower back.
My 10/09/08  brain MRI order was to rule out a brain mass. They also mentioned my stiff neck, so I was able to hold my head still. It was done without any contrast, so they didn't get a better view of an abnormality. "There is a 5 mm round lesion involving the tuber cinerium of the hypothalamus. It is slightly to the right of the pituitary stalk. Location and signal characteristics of the lesion are most consistent with a hamartoma of the tuber cinerium." It was taken 6 months after the movements began. I was not given an explanation, but I learned that uncontrollable laughing spells during the onset of a movement disorder, are called "Gelastic Seizures." I also had a lot of crying spells, that came later.
After 8 years, I heard on the news that doctors are doing laser ablation, of the subthalamic nucleus, to stop gelastic seizures in children. I thought they could tell me if it could be done on adults, and if it could stop my movements, but I didn't get a reply.
It seems like it could have been prevented with a lot lower dose. I fell into the rare category about that drug on Drugs.com. The starting dose was 300 mg, 3 X a day. I only got to the 2nd dose, before my nervous system was ruined. I had terrible social withdrawal, but I finally decided I would just have to get used to people staring at me. I would rather have them ask me why I am a jerky lady.
