Heachaches and numbness tingling in back

I have been suffering from periods of time where my thinking is "clouded or "foggy".  I sometimes have trouble coming up with the right words and my memory, focus and concentration are poor.  I also have a lot of headaches.  This has gone on for about a year or so and in the last month or so has gotten really bad.  I have had a headache for 3 weeks now.  I also have tingling down my spine and a numb spot where the tingling occurs.  My neck and back also ache.  My Dr. has ordered a CT scan and I am awaiting the appt.  I would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks!

Hi,
The  most probable cause of the symptoms that you have mentioned is Multiple sclerosis. Other causes could be brain tumour or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis is a demyelinating disease that  affects the nerves of the brain and spine. The symptoms are- brain fog, memory problems, numbness and tingling, headaches, muscle weakness and many others. Please go for the CT scan. MRI is more detailed and accurate. Please consult a neurologist for the diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!

Thanks for your input.  I am still waiting on my appt time for the CT scan and called today to report the new symptom of tingling and numbness.  I am waiting to hear back on that as well.
