Headaches associated with lightheadness

I am a 35 year old female. I have been having a constant headache going from the base of the back of my head all the way around to the front. It is all on the right side of my head. I have constant lightheadness with this headache. I have had migranes before and this is nothing like that. I don't have any sinus issues going on either. I have taken ibuprofen and tylenol 3 and nothing touches this headache. Any suggestions about what may be going on or what I should do?

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
This could be a tension type headache or hemicrania continua. Hemicrania continua are a persistent unilateral headache of moderate intensity which can be associated with eye congestion, watering and lacrimation and light headedness. Indomethacin usually provides relief.
Please discuss this possibility with your doctor and keep us posted!

I go to the doc. today. I had bloodwork done last Tuesday. I hope that they can find out what is going on. It is hard to live day to day this way. I am tired of hurting and feeling like I am drunk or something. If they could just find something to help with it all it would be great. Thanks for the input. God Bless!!!!! I will keep you posted.

Haave u been to a dr?....try a neurologist.....he/she will do testing to get to the root cause.Try and relax...stress is not good for headaches.Labs should also be done to rule out deficencies of minerals or vitamins.

Keep us posted.
Good luck
Godspeed
