I don't know what to put for the Topic Area as usual.  Ok lately my heart feels like it's beating through my chest.  I can see my heart beat on the outside of it (my chest) and it has really got me worried.  Why would it be beating so hard?  It's like it's making a thump, I'm concerned.

Note: If you've read my other posts you'll know that I'm Bulimic if that is a factor.

Thank you.  I don't drink coffee, or caffeine for that matter.

Hi,
There are beats called extrasystole or PVC, could happen in certain percentage of people ~10% due to stimulant like coffee , stress ..ext or with no other reason, its wise though to seek a help from a cardiologist to do 24 hr holter monitoring to confirm them and see if they come in a run of 5-6 beats together and if the lower your blood pressure or not and if the cause a pause , for how long.....
