I dropped off copies this afternoon to my doctor because he didn't receive them yet but now that I read my results, can someone please help. For a little background, I've been having bad back spasms and pain 6 months, I'm 25 years old, male, recently have been having leg cramps, headaches and have been referred to pain management and physical therapy. However, 6 months later, I don't know whats wrong.
MRI of the brain without and with contrast.
Clinical History: Headaches, Cervical & Lumbar pain w/ radiculopathy
Contrast Agent MULTICHANGE (15ML) IV
Findings:
There is no evidence of intracranial hemorrhage.
There is no mass, midline shift or extra axial fluid collection seen.
Ventricles sulci appear normal in size and configuration for age.
There are flow voids in the major intracranial arteries implying patency - this is one I am wondering about?
Thre is a large mucosal retention cyst involving the right maxillary sinus.
My lower lumbar spine was also scanned (MRI) and a bulge was found at L4-L5 with minimal bilateral neural foraminal narrowing. - that may explain some of my symptoms but does the above scan indicate anything with my brain? I believe I was being tested for MS and other neuropathic conditions but I've been a bit in the dark and it's frustrating.
