How serious is my problem?

Partial discal dessication with mild broad based posterior disc protrusion seen at L5-S1 level, indenting the thecal sac and left lateral recess.

Mild right subarticular disc protrusion seen at L4-5 level, indenting the right lateral recess.

The conus medullaris ends at L1 level. Signals from the spinal cord and conus medullaris are normal.

Paravertebral soft tissues and myofascial planes are normal.

Screening of dorsal spine ; dorsal vertebral bodies appear normal in height and alignment.

IMPRESSION: MRI findings are suggestive of early changes of lumbar spondylosis seen as;

1. Straightening of the lumbar spine.

2. Mild broad based posterior disc protrusion at L5-S1 level and mild right subarticular disc protrusion at L4-5 level.
