Indentation in top of head

I was really hoping for a suggestion as to why I may have developed an indentation in the top of my head. At first I thought I was crazy, and that it was impossible for that to happen, but over the last few months it seems to have grown and now anyone who feels the top of my head can easily feel it. It scares me, especially since my husband had brain surgery less than 2 years ago- (symptoms completely different of course) I am 35 years old, the only time I remember hitting my head really hard is when I was in elementary school and I fell and hit my head on a tile floor. I have had a history of passing out and having seizures but the doctors never figured out for sure what caused it and it hasn't happened for a few years. The best they came up with was blood sugar, and dehydration as a cause for those episodes, although I never had a MRI or anything of my head. I don't get pains from it, it may be a little tender if I press on the indent kind of hard. Is there any condition that would cause my skull to cave in? please help!

Well, I have suffered from migraines all my life and treated myself with over the counter pain medications. I'm sure WAY TOO MANY FOR ONE PERSON IN A LIFETIME. Also, My left lung has collapsed 5 times, for no apparent reason...they call it spontaneous pneumothorax. I believe the last time that happened was like 8 or 9 years ago, So it's hard telling what all meds were involved in that process.

Since posting on here finally got put on a migraine medication (Imitrex) which ended up damaging my main artery into my heart. My blood pressure got so high I started going blind. It took 3 hospital trips and 2 heart caths for docs to find out what was wrong. Anyway, they did tests on my head to make sure my high blood pressure didn't cause any damage to my head. So that made me feel better about my dents that I had found a couple years ago. I still randomly feel for them. But, yes, I was so afraid when I first found them and knew there was no way that they were always there....I changed my diet, started taking vitamins...seen no change and I cant remember what made me decide to stop wearing glasses on my head....I wear reading and sunglasses but after that they closed up.

I have been dealing with for years and like some I've put it off but now it has grown so big. I have two indentations and each one has a line indentation connecting to each one on top of my head one in the middle and one in front of my skull. What worries me the most is at the base of the one by my forhead has a half inch wide line indentation that leads down to the top of my eyebrow. I to also have a doctors app. I thought I was the only one who had this problem.

You have no insurance?  Well, rest assured it's probably nothing to get all worked up about.

If you retrieve this entire blog, which is years and years of people just like you and I, who discovered a dent on our heads and stumbling on this blog. Hundreds of the people here have done every imaginable test required (CT scans, MRI's, etc) by Specialists and received no answers to what caused their dent in the head.

I found this site years ago and I still receive notifications to this day of new posts and I read them. I am thankful for those before me and those who came in after I found this Blog.

You can tell, many people eventually opt out of receiving notifications of new posts. But still no one has any answers as to what causes the dent. So I'm not losing any sleep over this.

Stay connected as I do and you will be at peace about it.

Sandy
