Indentation in top of head

I was really hoping for a suggestion as to why I may have developed an indentation in the top of my head. At first I thought I was crazy, and that it was impossible for that to happen, but over the last few months it seems to have grown and now anyone who feels the top of my head can easily feel it. It scares me, especially since my husband had brain surgery less than 2 years ago- (symptoms completely different of course) I am 35 years old, the only time I remember hitting my head really hard is when I was in elementary school and I fell and hit my head on a tile floor. I have had a history of passing out and having seizures but the doctors never figured out for sure what caused it and it hasn't happened for a few years. The best they came up with was blood sugar, and dehydration as a cause for those episodes, although I never had a MRI or anything of my head. I don't get pains from it, it may be a little tender if I press on the indent kind of hard. Is there any condition that would cause my skull to cave in? please help!

Does anyone have a diagnosis?  Please?! I have two recent dents on top of my head--symetrical along the top of my head.  No pain, but I am beginning to get headaches feel light headed and am terrified.  Just went to the doctor and will be getting blood work tomorrow but I'm worried to see no diagnosis anywhere here!

This happened to me 25 years ago. First noticed by regular hairdresser. Mine sounds much the same. I never went to G.P and am still trucking along  but have no idea what caused it!
do u still have it? I have 2 that have grown. Dermo called it cvg.
What does CVG stand for?  I am being sent to the neurologist and dermatologist after blood work came back fine.  I am getting headaches not and am sleepy, too.  Did you have these symptoms, still_here?
I have like pressure on temples and behind eyes. Hearache at sides of upper skull. Not continuous but often. I worry often that it could be temporal arteritis..been to several drs but they don't know about everything.
Cvg stand for cutis verticis gyrata..
Have them check for high inflammation. If so, ck into cvg
i also have pressure behind my eyes and headaches at the sides of my upper skill that are not continuous but often.  So, you've been diagnosed with CVG and nothing else?  How are they treating CVG? Do you get sleepy often?  Light headed? What did the MRIs show?
Nothing. They just gave me that diagnises, well my Dermo did and assured me it was nothing to worry about. But will plan on Goin back to my gp, who said it was cysts, don't blev that. But these symptoms if eye aches and side of head aches and upper cheeks ache at times. I want them to ck me for high inflammation and if I have that I want them to check me for TEMPORAL ARTERITIS. Seems that symptoms of it. If and when I do this I will keep u informed. You do same if u will..hopefully, will get this solved. I know I find myself holding tension in my face. Could possibly be tension as well. I'm trying to notice if I'm on computer and reading alot on real achy days that eyes ache..will c.
Yes iv dealt with being sleepy. Went thru a spell of awful dizzy spells. That ended up I think being from my eustation tube dysfunction
Stopped when I started on flonase (generic) nose spray my ent put me on...
I will let you know what I find out as I get testing done.  I will have health insurance in Sept and will see a neurologist and derm get an MRI.  I feel like maybe a biopsy is needed, too?  I feel light headed throughout the day, too.  All of these symptoms came on very suddenly for me, so I agree temportal arteritis may be a lead, though it seems to affect older people.  How old are you?  I'm a 39 year old female.
I am 60 female..so am at that age. Yes it does seem to hit the older...possibly not it, hope not, but what else?..flonase spray has really helped me with light headedness and dizzy..

Has anyone gotten any other answers possibly? I don’t know if I should be worried. I didn’t realize how long this post has been. I got a decent size dent at the top/crown area in my skull. I have never gotten this checked out. Should I be worried?

I also have tworked good size o es at the crown of my head as well. My ENT said it's cutis verticis gyrata. .
Sorry, phone types what it wants. I also have two pretty good sized dents at crown of my head...
Do you know what caused it? I used to horseback ride and hit my head pretty hard from time to time. The only time I truly remember really hitting my head really bad is when I was like 7 and I tried to do a flip off my aunts bestfriend where she held my hands and I would walk up her legs and then kick my legs back over. Anyways, sorry had to describe that to you. I got my head sooooo hard on tile floor and I remember like having serious pain and immediately started crying. But other than that I’m like worried it’s caused by something else. I know for a fact I can never ever go bald cuz I’d look like so type of weirdo thatbdoesnt have a round parietal bone. I feel like pressure get stuck in my head and face a lot too. Is their any treatments you know of?

Sorry it’s a lot. I’m just worried about it.
I totally understand all you're saying. I can't remember I'm sure as a child I've had lots of Knox and bumps and even as an adult I fell back on my head once but and hit a hard floor but I don't truly believe that has anything to do with it. Did you research that cutis verticis that I mentioned above. My ENT said that it really isn't that serious at all. I do get the pressure that you speak of as well at times. But I just keep going about my everyday life and just not worrying about it. Sometimes it will feel like it does when you've had a ponytail in your hair for a long time? And you take it down and it feels kind of sore that is how mine will sometimes feel. I've had so many head issues of late but it's been going on for a few years so I just put it down to just a lot of stress and eating habits Etc. Try not to worry I have seen on here where people have had this stuff like this for 20 years so try not to worry. Try to curb your intake on salt like chips Etc and drink lots of fluid. Take care

my daughter had 2 dents on either side of her .. she was delivered by forceps. I only first noticed them when she was 5 or 6 years old. that was 55 yrs. ago. you know we have a lot of muscle/tissue that covers our heads. So, maybe, as we get older and or lose weight, the dents become more apparent.

I believe that there is something going on that this is affecting so many. I have to ask the question "why is it that so many people are affected, yet doctors don't know anything about it?" I remember when I was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I suffered with it for years before the diagnosis. The ONLY reason my doctor even knew what it was is because he was officially told about it at a conference he attended. Before that many doctors told us it was all in our heads. Now it actually have a name. I believe studies are being done of this very subject as it is now mushrooming. All of a sudden thousands of people are getting this dent in their heads without injuries. Keep a stiff upper lip. In the meantime, ask for blood tests check in abnormal levels of aluminum and barium. Those are the chemicals that have been reported being dropped in the form of chemtrails.

I have fibromyalgia as well as a head invention and had blood work to check for heavy metal toxicity and and it came back normal. I have chronic migraine headaches sometimes for several days and degenerative joint and disc disease so life is pretty rough. It has already caused a divorce and some trouble in my current relationship because of the amount of time I spend in bed. I don’t feel up to playing with my grand children and my daughter resents it. I don’t have any answers but I sure wish someone did.
