If you have time, look up vitamin deficiencies in regard to your sore tongue and other symptoms. I had the same tongue issues and got off of gluten containing foods (wheat, barley, rye and oats) and it got better. Gluten could also be causing (though not definitely) your thyroiditis. Look up celiac disease diet and maybe check with your doctor and give it a try. If you have a gluten problem, your body cannot absorb many vitamins and nutrients. It's a common problem. Good luck. If you try the diet, you'll need a multivitamin and maybe a b-complex to make up for what's missing in the diet.
The vitamins need to say gluten-free on the label. NatureMade is definitely gluten free.
