MRI

I have been having severe neck pain for well over a month now.  Arm pain (rightside)  has also started.  I also have fatigue and occasional headaches but those are nothing terrible and not too many of them.  The neck pain is the main problem.  There was no injury.  I went to my primary who sent me for an x ray and blood work.  The xray showed starightening of the cervical spine, which she said might be a muscle spasm.  Muscle relaxers haven't helped.  The primary referred me to a neurologist who sent me for an EMG and a brain MRI.  The EMG he said came back normal.  I did not see those results.  He also said the MRI came back normal.  I did see those results because the radiology center puts them on my patient portal.  I question though whether those results are actually "normal' though.  This is the the report:

The exam demonstrates multiple discrete foci of supratentorial T2 hyperintensity seen in the subcortical and periventricular white matter.  The findings are seen in a pattern which is noted to be associated with vasospastic phenomena.  None of these lesions exhibits mass effect.  None of these lesions has a diffusion weighted abnormality.  The corpus callosum and pericallosal regions are unremarkable.

The remainder of the exam does not demonstrate evidence of mass, shift or bleed. Ventricular and sulcal size is apprpriate.  There is no extra-axial fluid levels.

mucoasl thickening is noted within paranasal sinuses without air fluid levels.

Any help would be appreciated.  Do you think it requires a second opinion?  The doctor just wants to give me a nerve block injection, but I want to know the cause.  Thanks

The more opinions the better imo.
Wonder why they didn't order a MRI of the Cervical Spine?
Neck pain and arm pain usually suggest some type of nerve impingement.
Any mention of Physical Therapy, it might help?
