MS/Anxiety

A little while ago my right hand started to get a pins and needles, tingle feeling. This lasted a day or so and then spread to my other hand and both feet, in which all four were tingling/prickling. This was accompanied by loss of appetite and fatigue. This lasted just under a week, the dr took blood samples in which electrolytes and iron level was normal. The tingling eventually went away as did the loss of appetite and fatigue, but then i started experiencing mild numbness in finger tips of right hand and my little toe on my right foot. Aswell as random bouts of tingling and prickling in my hands. The dr said possible stress, but i cant help but think of MS. The symptoms have since left (touch wood) but im still worried. My right leg and arm have occasional weak feeling, but arnt physically weak as i can still do normal activites. Any ideas?

Oh my gosh, I have exactly the same thing. It bothers me but does not limit my daily activities.   My MRI (a year ago) came back normal but blood test all normal except my ANA test positive plus I also have eye discomfort;  I am still waiting for a referral for another MRI to see any new thing developed (hope not).  Doctor thinks it was stress but I don't think so.  I am so nervous right now which put me under a lot of stress.
Ask your doctor(neuro) to do MRI on you
good luck

That feeling of pins and needles can come from a lot of things, not just MS.  For example, poor circulation can cause the extremities to not get enough blood and oxygen, so if you tend to sit around more than you are active, then ramp up your activities.  MS usually shows itself with a dramatic change in vision, as the primary symptom, so since you have seen a doc, if things get a lot worse, of course visit him again to do a lot more tests.  Also, physical weakness can sometimes be helped by adding more protein in your diet and also be sure to stay well-hydrated.
