Metallic taste in mouth, severe tiredness/weakness and headaches. Confused

Hi, I have had a really odd metallic taste in my mouth with extreme tiredness, very dizzy and headaches but other than this I am a very healthy 22yr old. I just can't work it out??? Would just like to know if these are common symptoms for anything?

Get a stool sample taken with a functional medicine doctor. Have them look fit parasites. If it comes out negative request a blood culture to look for bacteria and parasites within the blood.

Im a 22 y/o female with the exact same symptoms. I've narrowed it down to either lead poisoning or a cerebral fluid leak (which george clooney had once too). Im going to see a neurologist next week to see if its a mental disorder.

Omg I've had the same thing. Extreme exhaustion, upset stomach and occasionally a metal taste in my mouth. Did you ever find out what it was?

Parasitic infections can cause fatigue, upset stomach, dizziness and iron deficiency. Unfortunately your reugular labs do not have very good diaganostics in this area. I would seek out a intergrative/functional doc and have your stools tested for parasites

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. Metallic taste in mouth could be due to various causes like poor oral hygiene, dental illness, gingivitis, periodontal diseases, gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux, certain medications like antibiotics, antidepressants, copper toxicity, chronic alcoholism hypercalcemia, etc. I would suggest that consult a dental surgeon if a tooth problem is a possibility. Vitamin and iron deficiencies could also cause these problems. Get a complete hemogram and blood indices if relevant. Consult a physician soon and a complete clinical evaluation should help. Take care.

It is symptoms for many things, most of which are serious. Please don't freak out because they also fit some things that are not bad and not potentially fatal. I am just letting you know the truth. You should see a doctor and before you get the appointment, do a "diet diary/journal" to give to the doctor.

It sounds like either iron deficiency, a mental illness (specifically the brain) or maybe even a vitamin deficiency/overdose.
