I agree if this is not just bfs I believe the only other thing it could be is MS which would suck but atleast it is more treatable then most of the other ones my symptoms are staying the same I mean my twitches migrate around to different areas but nothing is really getting worse

It's definately a good thing that your EMG is clean. Another good thing is that least your symptoms are staying the same, so that effectively rules out any degenerative disease

You know sometimes with a neurological thing, it can take years to diagnose and it can be really frustrating. Especially if all the tests come back normal at the beginning, I know exactly how that feels. It's really annoying that in some cases they have to let it get bad before they actually know what it is then start treating it. I hate how if they can't find an answer they all point and say it's anxiety, my dad even said to me that it was stress related which I wasn't very impressed about because he should be providing support, not just shooting me down like that.

I hope for both our sakes that they can find something soon that can give us a proper diagnosis

Thanks again !
I had a MRI with and without contrast a month and a half ago all clear.
also had a NCV she said my F waves are remarkable,(Dont know what that Means)
I had Thyroid,Lyme,ANA,CBC,HIV,Syphillis,Hep c, vitamin B or magnisium test, some test that looks for small tumors,Everything I have had has came back normal. I also had a x ray of lungs this was also normal. My neuro took family history then did the eye tests, and vibration tests, babinski reflex, and alot more then emg needle in tongue and shoulder and leg  one time then the next the emg was on other side both clear all tests clear even a full dialated eye exam was normal with 20/15 vision

Just dont know what all these symptoms I have could be from I know more then likely anxiety makes them worse, but they are there no matter

The twitching can be stress related and stress can definately make it alot worse. Are the vision problems and dizziness still there? If they are I would suggest that you ask your neuro to get a CAT or MRI scan done just to rule out anything like a tumour

All I have to say then is that you should have regular check ups with your neuro. I was told for just over a year that I had essential myoclonus and yesterday when I went, my neuro told me that he thinks that I actually have epilepsy even though the 2 EEGs that I had came back clean. Hope things go well and that it is only BFS

the muscle twitches may be myoclonic jerks which can be a condition on its own or more likely a symptom of a variety of other things like: vitamin deficiencies, autoimmune diseases, alzheimers, parkinsons, lesions on your brain or spinal cord (but you said your mri's were clean so its most probably not that), trauma, infections and the list goes on. if all the tests for als came back negative then it is unlikely that you have it, i wont say that you dont have it because tests arent 100% correct all the time. ask your doctor to run blood tests and ask them to test for things like ANA, CBC, kidney and liver function and magnesium levels. take care

After developing neuralgia from a weird infection that also caused IC, and having the pains spread everywhere, I started getting the muscle twitches ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE. I was always twitching somewhere at any given time. It made me worry, but my infectious disease doctor and neurologist didn't show concern after their tests all came back normal.  Eventually the ongoing twitching eased up.. I'd say after about 18 months. I'm back to just the random stabs of pain. So what does this mean? I guess those particular brain signals eased up after a while. Lyrica seemed to help.
