My mouth Mouth/Lip has been Twitching for a few weeks any ideas what this is?

Hello all,
I was hoping someone could give me some insight before my doctors appointment on the 27th. So scared waiting for this appointment!!!

Basically, Over the past 3 weeks my lips have been twitching. At first it was every few hours now it seems to have increased and even is triggered by certain movements of my lips. It feels like a pulsating twitch that lasts a few seconds. The more I think about it the worse it seems to get. My cheek even twitches sometimes If i’m really nervous about it. I am generally a very nervous and anxious person and the past year has been very rocky for me- my father passed suddenly 6 mo ago and my depression and anxiety has skyrocketed since. Some other background is I am a 23 y/o female , i am vegetarian? idk if that could have something to do with it maybe lack of the right foods/vitamins. I also have a bad sleep schedule that I am just starting to improve.

I also have had episodes of vertigo while laying down only, and muscle twitches on the legs and body a little bit.

I see an oncologist (i had hodgekins lymphoma at 17 and have been in remission for 6 yrs) and she didn’t seem to be concerned with my twitching and said probably due to stress filled/not healthy lifestyle. She directed me to a GP but i’m still not convinced and pretty scared right now :(

Hey, sorry to hear about everything you're going through. I have bodywide twitching and can't find answers. Frustrating, I know. I assume yours is brought on my stress/anxiety or lack of magnesium, potassium or calcium. Get your levels checked. Keep me posted.

thank you! have you been to the doctor? my oncologist said it’stypically  not related to MS and other diseases and more so vitamin deficiencies but its so annoying ...
I have. I was also diagnosed with viral myelitis, which presents like MS. I have 4 lesions on my spinal cord, but they don't have anything to do with the twitching per my Neuro. It's definitely scary though, especially if you already have anxiety. Where from?
what are the symptoms of myelitis/what else were you experiencing? thats odd that its completely unrelated! yes I have terrible anxiety. right now the twitching is mainly my mouth and both legs and arms. more i think about it worse it is it seems. i don’t have an appointment with a GP until the 27th so it really sucks.
You don't have myelitis, trust me. Probably vitamin deficiency or BFS. Keep me posted after Drs.
PS. See a Neuro, not primary. Just my opinion.
ill ask my primary to refer me, needed a primary who specialized in long term cancer survivor health ect- but ill def ask and ill comment after my appt!
Any news?
Saw my dr today. I asked about having MS...basically he reviewed my symptoms, did some strength tests and then ordered blood work. He's going to check my b12, thyroid, calcium/potassium/electrolytes, magnesium and i think a regular CBC. He overall didn't seem concerned and said most of the time these symptoms are "anxiety" , though he wants to do some further testing just to do it i suppose........i also have been having tingling in my foot and left heel. i guess ill see what the bloodwork says and if its normal ill go to a nuerologist? idk what else to do and the twitching is spreading to my left eye ugh
My left eye is constantly twitching. Let me know about bloodwork. Mine came back clean today. EMG on the 8th.
So frustrating. what did you get tested for/what does your doctor say it is

It's not MS. That presents differently. Probably anxiety and/or deficiency. I'm no Dr, but have done a ton of research. MS presents with numbness, vision problems or weakness typically.
