NEED HELP

Question

MY PAIN DR. HAS ME ON (4) 30 MG ROXYCODONE DAILY , 50 MG FETYNAL PATCH EVERY 3 DAYS, AND (3) 10 MG VALIUM DAILY. I FAILED MY DRUG TEST SO I AM SURE I WILL BE KICKED OUT. ANY ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO? I KNOW I SHOULDN'T HAVE FAILED BUT I DID. I DON'T WANT TO DIE THOUGH, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Sorry, I just read your request and don't really have an answer for you but hope someone does so let's keep you post repeated if needed until something makes sense for you.

With all of my medication listed above and also I take Adderall xr from my family Dr. but also 2 medications (NON NARCOTIC) from my Rheumatologist. When I took my drug test from my pain management Dr. it tested positive for hydro morphine which I do not take. I was told that because of all of the medications mixed, the drug test from my urine could show a false reading and it did. I tried to explain this to my pain management Dr. but he really didn't say anything and I am pretty sure he is going to kick me out now on my next visit with no medications at all. I have read that a person can possibly die if taken off the Fetynal patches all of a sudden and also the Valium stopped without weaning off of them. I am so scared now that this is going to happen to me. I wanted to know the rules of Alabama Pain Management Dr's. Can a Pain Dr. kick you out without weaning you off first? PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED......

Good morning!  If those medications are prescribed to you and you are using them as prescribed I don't think they can fire you.  I have MS and take amphetamine (Adderall) every day just to get out of bed.  I too tested positive on my urinalysis at work; however, once it was proven that I am prescribed that medication, the results sent back to work were negative.
