NOISE at the back of my head

im hearing noise at the back of my head everytime i turn my head from side to side, or when i rotate my shoulder, im pretty sure its not coming from the bones, grinding each other, pls, im a bit worried that i might be hearing a bruit, or theres some kind of norrowing in my veins or something, its been 6 months now, sometimes i just lie in bed, and i hear this without moving any body parts. it only last for 1 second or 2, but it wont go away, can we actually hear bruit? i know that bruits can be heard over the steth, but can the patient hear it too?? also im feeling this sort of tightness or swelling around my left TMJ area, near the ear, what would this be, pls help, thanks

i get this what is it?  i have chronic stresses in my life from high school and from swim training four hours of week not including driving time.  it has been 3 years since i stopped but i have had what i feel is some severe anxiety symptoms as a result.  I would be fine to handle it but i would like to know what this noise could be.  i rotate my shoulder or flex my shoulder and this noise of something grinding or squeezing something out happens somewhere in my head.
