Neck Pain/Headache

I had been having muscle aches, tingling and pains in legs. I have had issues with my lower back and figured it may be related to sciatic. I was sent to physical therapy for calf pain after a week off of being in the boot and the calf pain not going away. The leg aches started to go to both legs and included quads. Physical therapy seemed to help a little. I did however notice cramping/aches in arms as well.

I decided to go to chiropractor for lower back. I had previously been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, bulging disc and arthritis. The chiropractor did his think on my back but not my cervical area because I did not want that touched. The next day my head and neck were hurting. The following day I went and he said that was normal and he did his think again to my back and since them my head and neck have been in more pain and it will not go away. When I turn my head from shoulder to shoulder it hurts and makes a funny noise. My neck hurts and the pain moves into my shoulders. The cramping/aches in my legs has increased and my arms are cramping/aching as well.

I have no idea what the cramping was to begin with and now it is back to where it was and my back feels worse and my neck head and shoulders hurt. My jaw also hurt and behind my ears. There almost feels like a pressure in my ears.

Does anyone have any clue what the cramping/aching could be and if it is normal to feel neck/head shoulder pain after non cervical chiro adjustments? Will this go away?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The first possibility is of a spinal cause like cervical stenosis or degeneration which is causing nerve irritation. Nerve irritation may present with pain in the neck and when movement of the neck is there from side to side if cervical spine is involved and tingling and numbness in the upper extremities. Any spinal cause in the lower spine may be associated with tingling in the soles of feet and legs. So to rule out this possibility you need a MRI whole spine done after consulting a neurologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
