Neck, shoulder, shoulder blade pain. Please help!!! :)

Hello,

I am from a small country in Europe, so in advance I apologize for my English , because it is not my native language and its kinda difficult to describe all the symptoms especially where medical terms are involved, but I will try my best. My pain story began when I was 17 years old (about 6 years ago), I perfectly remember that day. It was my ballroom practice ( I was dancing about 10years at that time) and I felt a strange fatigue, dizziness.
And then it all started…  In addition, I would like to mention that I had Lyme disease when I was a child, but my mother spotted this in time and we went to the doctor who prescribed me antibiotics course. I took the course as I was supposed to Also I didn’t feel any changes( no headaches, no temperature rising, vomiting….nothing) I remembered that and I thought maybe this can be the cause of my problems?( maybe this still is…I am not 100%sure) I had my lime disease test a couple years ago and the company that did it sad it was positive and I went to a infection hospital, showed the test and they sad that the test only shows that I have antibodies from lime disease and this will stay for the rest of my life, but to completely be sure they made an offer to do an additional test. So they stabbed a syringe with a long needle into my lower back between two vertebras and pulled some liquid from that spot. After three days lying in bed the doctors sad that everything is ok. In addition I would like to say that I danced ballroom dances for ten years.

So not to expand my story too much I would like to submit the information about me:

My condition at the moment:
weakness, strong occipital pain(tension headache) and fatigue from when I wake up till I go down, memory loss (~80%), lack of concentration, hand, palm, finger “melting” when I am a sleep, muscle twitching(especially in my crural 24h a day) , right shoulder and right shoulder blade pain( this is not constant but the pain especially comes when I have to study, it is a terrible pain it feels that somebody is stabbing you in the shoulder blade with a knife and the shoulder just hurts it doesn’t feel like it is being stabbed, and the pain is kinda “traveling” sometimes it effects the shoulder blade, sometimes only the shoulder, and sometimes both.

I  have done my new MRI and uploaded it. Please if you can look at it and comment it, i would be sincerely grateful for your help . Download link:

The past MRI summary(2005):

MR(C1-C7):
C2-C3, C3-C4 small degenerative changes, at the bottom surface of C3 5-6mm Schmorl knot, C5-C6 “disk is shroud”( I don’t know how to Wright correctly in English) , C4-C5, C6-C7 disks are less shroud. C5-C6 disk is more shroud by the left edge,  narrows the intervertebral opening. C3-C7 are rotated counter clockwise.

The new MRI summary (2010):

Analyzed by : T1W, PD
Performed axial, coronary cuts.

Straightened physiological cervical spine part of lordosis
vertebral rotation of cervical spine
C2-3-4-5 disks between vertebrae are abstemiously lower, circulars are shroud, covering plates are not even,At the bottom surface of C3 small Schmorl knot, C5-6-7 vertebrae disks marginally lower, circulars are shroud. C5-C6 disk is more shroud by the left edge posterolaterally,  narrows the intervertebral opening marginally.

Comparing with the old MRI view, changes within vertebrae disks remain without major dynamics, rotation is expressed a little less.

Also the doctor made some x-rays of my spine, because he suspected scoliosis. Also waiting for your comments guys . Neck:

Medical ways I tried to heal:
Chiropractors,  acupuncture,  massage, neck stretching device,  osteopathy,  physiotherapy.

Yesterday, I went to a private physiotherapist. Explained the situation. She was astonished of the problems that I had, furthermore as fortunate as i can be the next day she goes for a holiday and won’t be back for 2,5 weeks. She promised that she will do an individual plan of exercises for me and will work with a new technology in Lithuania “kinesio taping”. Hope it will work… So she gave me some basic exercises for my neck. I uploaded a video of me doing the exercises. I asked if she could film it, just for a reason that I could memorize them, so didn’t do them appropriately, but hope you can catch the idea of what I am doing

hello, thank you for your answer. Don't really understand what cervical disc bulge is?. Is it then the spinal nerve is pressed buy the vertebra?Maybe you can put a link with a picture of this problem.  Have you looked through my MRi photos and x-rays? Or you just made a conclusion from my MRi summaries? and when you mentioned about the LHERMITTES SIGN  - never heard about this and completely don't understand what are you talking about. how is this illness defined? Sorry, for my stupidity:) I have been to maybe 10 neurologists. I have used the medication you mentioned. I used it for a week. Didn't feel any changes, so stopped using them. Do you think i used them too short? All so thinking that it is only a temporary solution. It doesn't solve the problem..... I have a cervical collar , if we are talking about the same one :)

Hi, Thank you for your question. I think your symptoms may be due to nerve irritation in the cervical (neck) spine because of cervical disc bulge. This pain may be referred and perceived as occurring in the back of head & shoulders (as it blades)- LHERMITTES SIGN, arms or chest, rather than just the neck. Other symptoms may include vertigo, nausea (dizziness) and stiffness. It will be best that you consult a neurologist who would like to prescribe Pain killers, steroid and muscle relaxants. Other treatments could be cervical orthosis such as a soft cervical collar or stiffer neck brace to restrict neck movement till you get complete recovery. In addition, cervical traction may also be suggested by the doctor, if condition is severe. Hope this helps.
