Nerve Pinching?

I've been feeling pain at the right side of my face. Consulted my family doctor & he said that I have a nerve pinching which cause by allergy. My doctor gave me a nose spray to ease the pain. But, it feels that its getting worse especially when I'm lying down & touch my nose from left to right. The pain goes all the way to my right eye now. I tried to blow my nose & it really hurts too. Now my question is, "is it really nerve pinching or can it be something else?"

i have a major problem that i am so tired of it.. i have a sharp pain in my left hand on the ring finger between the joing and teh nail bed on the inner top corner by the middle finger. that finger is very sensitive to even hair touch when i shower. when its cold or i use cold water it is very painful, it wakes me up in the middle of the night and that pain even makes me cry and i am 31 yrs old. a dr had told me it was like a small tumor so he made a small incision and cut a little part of the nerve well thats what he said.. but it did not help the pain at all..i have thought of cutting my finger off where i am desperate that i cannot find any help and it makes me sweat when i get that pain..please help me..

Hello.

This could be a trigeminal neuralgia. It can start after infections. Trigeminal neuralgia can be difficult to treat. There are some good medicines available for it.

The pain of trigeminal neuralgia can be brought on by even a light touch of the fingers,

Try medicines for TN and also take care of your allergy.

Regards
