Nerve jolts

Hi
I am a 25 year old male.  I had unprotected oral sex with a sex worker in Korea back in November.  I used a comdom for vaginal sex. I became very unwell soon after this inncident.  I developed an all body itcy rash (lasting 1 month), extreme fatigue (lasting 2-3 months), swollen lymph nodes, loss of appitite and muscle aches and twitching.  I have been tested for HIV and 6 STD's, including HSV1 and HSV2 at 4 months and all were negetive.

Unfortunately I'm still experiencing muscle twitching and strong nervous jolts on various parts of my body, including my head.  I don't notice them much during the day but when I lie in bed they are very obvious.

What could be causing this muscle twitching and sudden nervous jolts?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear of your problem. If this was an area that it not usual for you to be in, maybe you need to expand your search past STD's. There may be an enviromental cause, bacterial or possible a bug bite problem. I would see an infectious disease doctor along with neurologist, and possibly an endocrinologist. It may just be a coincidence that this occurred in a different location and just after unprotected relationship.  Good Luck.
