Dear Somuchpa, welcome to the medhelp forum. Low backache and pain at the top of spine could be suggestive of a spine issue. Low back pain could be due to a lumbar disc prolapse, degenerative disc disease and slipping of vertebra due to degeneration or trauma. Neck pain also needs investigation for cervical degenerative disc disease and cervical osteoarthritis. An MRI spine is needed to check for possible diagnosis. You could take over the counter NSAIDS in the meanwhile. Consult a neurologist for appropriate diagnosis. Wish you best of luck.
