Numbness in face from exercise

I am soon to be 28 years old and about 10 - 15 pounds overweight.  I started at the YMCA and went to a spin class.  About 20 minutes into it, my face went numb with a tingily feeling.  If felt like needles poking at my face. I started to feel nauseas and like I was going to pass out.  Was this feeling just from over doing it and being over heated?  Or is it something else? No other people in the class has ever experienced this before so I am just curious.

Hello.

This was most probably due to the exercise. Your body is not used to this. You will eventually get used to this new activity and such a symptom will not come.

To be on the safer side, get your blood pressure and routine blood work done, especially for hemoglobin.

Regards
