Hi there. Pineal tumors can range from a pinealocytoma, which is a benign pineal cell tumor, pinealoblastoma, a more aggressive pineal cell tumor, pineal germinoma, aggressive primitive cell tumor in the pineal region, pineal teratomas, tumors of multiple cell types growing in pineal region, and pineal cysts, usually not treated unless causing hydrocephalus and visual symptoms. Diagnosis depends on CT, MRI, spinal fluid studies ranging from cytology to markers like AFP. Your pineal cyst is big enough and is causing hydrocephalus symptoms like headache, vertigo and visual disturbances. It needs immediate surgical exploration and excision on an emergency basis. It cannot be waited for mid may. Please reach the hospital emergency and seek immediate intervention. Hope this helps. Take care
