Permanent Tremor!!!! after using medication

topamax 50mg for ulnar nerve pain and cymbalta 30mg which he swtched form my aropax (paxil) which i had taken for 13 yrs without any adverse effects. The side effects were awful from these medications. Agitation , fast heart rate, insomnia and suicidal thoughts ( i thought i was depressed before!). Now it appears that i am left with a permanent tremor in my hands and head. I also get frequent muscle twitching. Its been 4 months and they havn't eased what's the go!!!! I also have weakness and tremor when applying pressure or lifting objects which i never had before. He did give me a 5 day grace period before starting the cymbalta when i ceased my aropax.

Hi,

Cymbalta is known to cause tremors in patients although this is seen at very high doses and in very few patients. I would suggest you to talk to your doctor as you may need dose adjustment or you can switch over to an alternate drug.

Thanks
