Please help

I ma getting cold feelings mostly in the wrists, and less on hands, sometimes hands are colder. I am feeling a cold or even burning sensation on lower legs just above the ankles, also on occasion cold toes. When I go to bed my feet actually feel like they are burning and have to leave out of covers. In the morning they seem pretty good. My vision sometimes is a bit more fuzzy and gets slightly more focussed on occasion. The real weird thing is sometimes ONE or TWO knuckles are cold to the touch and feel, even my right elbow bone at times. I do suffer from anxiety/panic but I can chalk all this up to that? MS runs in my family so I am a bit concerned.

I have the same exact symptoms as you are describing.  I have had MRIs, and tons of blood work.  All normal.  Its frustrating.  My neuro says maybe Fibromyalgia, post viral syndrome, or small fiber neuropathy.  My PCP says anxiety/stress over worrying about MS.  Its been 7 years now with my symptoms.  As I sit here now typing, my face is drivng me crazy, feels like little bugs running across my face, and my outer thighs feel the same way.  Every once in a while I will feel a razor burn feeling under my arm pits, and around my ankles or a cold water feeing going through my veins.  Have you had any testing done?

I hope you find an answer, its been tough for me, and still don't have a diagnosis.

See ya, Jennifer

Thank you for answering me.
I am a 49 year old male, I have been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks for about 12 years now, sometimes its better sometimes worse. The only medicines I use are ativan and zopiclone. I have the under the tongue 1 mg ativans that use in the evening, mostly so I can try to get to sleep. On occasion I will use a zopiclone instead of the ativan to get sleep.

I have had a recent blood test and the only thing that was pointed out to me was high cholesterol, and small amount of blood in urine (which I have had for 12 years).

I will try to explain the full spectrum of symptoms, hopefully they won't confuse you as there is many:) I generally for years have had sore muscles in chest, left arm, back, neck. I have chalked it up to anxiety and assumed it was from being tense.

About 3 months ago I started having this feeling of a hair on my chin, or a tickle, which seemed strange and still happens but not as frequent (I'll mention I was/am going through some very stressful times). Since then many things have started to happen
I have cold feelings/pain on wrist bone sometimes, cold elbow bones sometimes, pretty much constant pain/burning/numbness just below my calves down to my ankles, back of hands are cold sometimes yet fingers seem okay, sometimes they are both cold, toes are cold most of the time. I did have kind of tingling feelings in my hands and arms, mostly hands, it almost felt like hair standing up.

I do have an extreme pain on my left shoulder (high) up to the neck and to the bone sticking out the most on top of spine, its been about 2 months now with that and it just doesn't go away. And last but not least I have had  a bad tooth for about 2 months which I have not taken the time to get fixed (it hurts quite often, back bottom tooth) I also have pain behind the left knee like a hamstring pull or something that seems to come and go (kind of a burning feeling)

The pain in legs does not get worse when I walk, it actually seems to get better  while doing yard work etc., mornings is also better, no cold feelings but legs still dont feel right. It also seems if I take my shoes off it feels better. I am experiencing at this moment the right hand knuckle having a cold stinging feeling, its all very strange to me.

Don't mean to overload you, but thats the full story:)

Thank you sir

Hello.

I understand your concern about MS since you have a family history. I would like to know what medicines you are taking for the anxiety and panic. We have to rule out all other causes before we think of MS. As such, thinking of MS increases anxiety and may increase some anxiety symptoms which can actually look like MS symptoms.

Can I ask your age ? Do you have all you blood work done ?

Regards
