Pulsating colors in the left eye corner field vision

Hello, i'm a 28 year old female with a question. I wear prescription glasses (my dioptry is -4 on my right and -4,50 on my left eye), i don't know if this information is relevent or not. I had this symptom reaccur to me and i'm wondering whether it's an indication of sth and i should see a doctor: if there is something bright red/purple to my left and i barely catch it with the corner of my left eye while i'm looking at something else in front of me, that color starts pulsating and diverting my attention. It first happend when i was at the seaside, sitting behind a table with a bright cloth with pictures of fruit on, i was talking to a friend and looking directly in her eyes and the colors in the corner of my left eye started pulsating, and it happened a number of times with that same cloth. It also happened once when a television set was on the same spot, just barely in my visual field, and yesterday when i was lying on my bed, reading a book, focusing on the page and one of the red triangles that are on the sheets was just barely in my visual field of my left eye. I moved so that i blocked the red triangle from the visual field and the pulsating stopped (there are also white and blue on the same sheets, but they cover greater areas). Is that normal or should i see a doctor?
Thank you for your response,
Maja

geeze
see a ophthalmologist right away
it may be noting but then again
it is not  something that is normal  unless  you are just seeing veins in your eyes
but go anyway

I should also mention that when i move my head so that the color that's pulsating is in my visual field, i see it normally again. Thank you again,
Maja
