Random Toddler Jolts

My daughter (3yrs old) has been getting these random episodes where she jolts with a blank stare for a few seconds and then resume whatever it was she was doing. She usually giggles about it, and she gets about 2-3 of these a day. I'd appreciate some feedback.

With a quick google check, it turns out it is not unusual to giggle with a seizure.

It sounds like absence seizures, although I have not heard people giggle afterward.  Better have her checked to be sure it's not that.
