My results are:
There are minor degenerative cervical spine changes, most prominent at c5/c6 and c6/c7
C5/C6: dehydrated bulged disc with a right paramedial annular tear that impinges on the anterior theca
There is no foraminifera stenosis or contact with the adjacent neural structures.
C6/C7: minimally dehydrated disc, right a paramedial disc protrusion and with probable coexisting annular tear that indent the anterior theca. There are no formal stenosis or impingement on the adjacent neural structures.
There are full signal change (T2) adjacent to the posterior wall of the body of T5 which is most likely secondary to a fatty deposit or to a small haemangioma. Should there be a suspicion of malignancy, a radionucible bone scam is advised to clarify the nature of this anomaly.
There is minor attenuation of the cervical lordosis.
There are no additional abnormalities in favour of spinal malignancy.
There are no abnormalities in favour of neuromeningial malignancy.
Conclusion: there are minor degenerative cervical spinal changes that do not impinge on the adjacent neural structures, as described above.
So there you go if someone could just expand on what most of this means that would be great thank you!
