Right eye watering/tearing for 7 weeks straight?

Has anyone with a tumor or neuralgia experienced a constant watering/tearing in one eye? My Optomotrist thought it was a clogged tear duct (which he said was vary rare) and tried to flush it but couldnt do it! He then prescribed antibiotic drops along with an antiinflammatory drop and scheduled me 10 days later to try again, but had to cancel me and now another week of waiting to get back in and still my eye waters constanstly.. Funny thing is it started right after major sx 7 weeks ago, but of course both Dr.'s say its unrelated. I have been dx with tmj and wondered if it could be related, but doesn't seem to get better or worse with my jaw pain???? Of course our eyes are a big concern and I would love to know if I should push the issue more or go to another Dr. for eval.

DID YOU EVER SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF YOUR WATERY EYE?? MAY I ASK WHAT YOUR "MAJOR SURGERY" WAS? DID OR DO YOU ALSO HAVE A RUNNY NOSE? DO YOU PRODUCE TOO MUCH SALIVA? THERE ARE SOME DRUGS IN THE COLINERGIC FAMILY THAT CAN CAUSE THIS LIKE BETHANOCOL. WHEN I TOOK IT TO INCREASE URINE PRODUCTION IT DID THIS TO ME AND WHAT DRS THOUGHT WAS TMJ WAS CAUSED BY A SWOLLEN SALIVARY GLAND. NOW MY LEFT EYE HAS BEEN CONTINUALLY WATERING, BUT I HAVE FOUND A PITUITARY GLAND TUMOR. THIS TUMOR IS VERY CLOSE TO OPTIC NERVES AND THE GLAND ALSO CONTROLS WATER BALANCE IN THE BODY. THE TUMOR WAS ONLY CAUGHT AFTER SEVERAL BRAIN MRIs AND CTs, WHEN THE DYE GANDOLINIUM WAS USED AND A CLOSEUP OF THE PITUITARY WAS DONE. THESE TUMORS ARE MEASURED IN MMs. IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING THE PROBLEM DONT GIVE UP! GO TO AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST AND GET A FULL HORMONAL WORKUP AND GO TO A NEUROLOGIST FOR IMAGING AND TESTING. I WOULD ALSO TRY AN EAR NOSE AND THROAT DR ALONG WITH AN OPTHAMOLOGIST. GOOD LUCK! IF YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT IT WAS PLEASE TELL ME. IM INTERESTED IN KNOWING. THANK YOU!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
You should go to an ophthalmologist to check if it is a problem related with the eye alone or not. (allergy, lacrimal gland infection etc) . If it is not and a nervous related then you have to continue near a neurologist for determining the cause of stimulation and you can take some blockers to stop the tearing/watering etc. Take care!
