Seeing colors that arent there

Hello, I am 16 yrs old, and I've been seeing blue lights since I was in 1st grade. I was outside playing and thought i saw a blue light, but when I asked a friend if something was there she said I was crazy because nothing was there. I brushed it off, but after that, it didn't go away, Fast forward a few years it didn't happen often so I forgot about it. last week it came back, but instead of it being a blue light it was a yellow light. The lights aren't a solid light its more like a see-through.  What is it and what should I do?
