My symptoms started after suregery with the dizzy type feeling. I have been on bp med for about 3 months. I have been on the fluvoximine for 6 months..
I find it hard to believe that the meds will cause me to shake when I squeeze things especially since I have been on it long enough for my body to adjust. If I could just get rid of this dizzy off feeling geesh. Every test has been run as far as blood goes..
Oh ok...so ur BP meds r new to u....
When did u start them? as u can see some of the symptoms u r having can be from the one med u r on......
I wasnt on any meds before I had surgery period..
Hi when there r issues such as urs I always look to side effects of meds....here r some from the meds u r on-
Side effects most commonly observed with fluvoxamine include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, insomnia, dizziness, nervousness, anxiety, dry mouth, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, heart burn, appetite suppression, muscle weakness, "pins and needles" sensation, abnormal taste, headache, faster heart beat, sweating, weight gain, weight loss or unusual bruising. Other side effects which are observed more frequently in children include abnormal thoughts or behaviour, cough, increased menstrual pain, nose bleeds, increased restlessness, infection and sinusitis.Sexual side effects with fluvoxamine are less pronounced than with other SSRIs.
If you need surgery, tell the surgeon ahead of time that you are using lisinopril. You may need to stop using the medicine for a short time. If you are being treated for high blood pressure, keep using lisinopril even if you feel well. High blood pressure often has no symptoms. You may need to use blood pressure medication for the rest of your life.
Not knowing particulars of ur surgery...I wonder if u may not have stopped ur meds soon enuff or if u began them too soon post op and the meds had an interaction with the anesthesia?
That should say 1000iu vit d a day
