Shrinking brain

Hello I am a 41 yr old woman and was recently sent for an MRI to find out why my brain is shrinking.  My brother has MS and my father has Parkinson's disease, I was told that this was not something normally seen in a young person my age.  I am worried now considering my familly history of neurological disorders and was wondering what would be my chances considering and what could this be?

If the atrophy is affecting the cerebellum look for spinal cerebellum ataxia.  They  should have done blood work.
