Similar MS symptons but not MS

My 48 years old friend, has been having MS symptoms alike since July 2007. In Italy Doctors cannot understand what is happening to her. Although symptoms are the same as MS, she has not been diagnosed with MS because laboratory tests came back negative.  What other neurological diseases have symptoms so similar to MS?

I too have MS type symptoms. Going through testing. Other conditions that mimic include (I found out when I was tested to rule out): lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, ALS Lou Gherig's disease - not sure how to spell), myasthenia gravis, vasculitis, heavy metal poisoning, and a myriad of cinditions I can no longer remember the names of and probably could never hope to spell, lol.
