Spasms

I have been dealing with dibilitating spasms for the past 5 years in my left arm and back.

For the last year and 1/2 I have been recieving 500ml of Botox injections starting at my lower back- middle back- neck- temples and between my eyes to try and ease the pain. Prescribed Zanaflex and Ultracet as needed for pain.

There have been days and I mean 4-5 day stretches that I have been unable to function. My husband has had to care for our daughter and home. One night in particular I could not move my arms, legs or anything... I thought I was going to die. I was stuck in the recliner and could not even call to my husband who was asleep upstairs. I sat there for hours waiting to die.

I have had all the nerve test, no damage. Lupus was negative. My Nero even perscribed me medical mary jane. I just want to have strength in my arms again. I can't make cookies for my girl because I can't strir the dough. Walking through Walmart exhaust me... I have to go home and nap. Any clues???

Whoever has spasm's. go to walmart & get some Potassium pills.. They work like a miracle for stifness & Spasm's.

Good luck. Give it a try & see for yourself.. not sure why doctor's dont tell people about being extremely low in Potassium.. and when you are low in Potassium it cause's Spasm's & Stiffness.

I just had a brain scan on Tuesday... I get the results on Wednesday of next week.

I have had the neck MRI and it shows a few bulginging disks in my neck. I saw an Orthepedic Sergeon once we moved to SC a few months ago from Colorado and he told me to go back to a Nero. He said the neck and disk were in pretty good shape and shouldn't be causing any pain (repeated MRI from 2 year previous compared.)

What got me was when I showed the Nero here the Mri from Colorado, he stated that he saw some arthritus?? however it is spelled. Spell check is so bad for grammer... My Nero out west never stated seeing any. He kept me shot up with Botox every 9 weeks to help kill the pain.

I am just ready for some answers, then I can start to live again. I am 37 in a few weeks and a builder by profession. I can't afford to be down and no way of knowing a solution of getting me back up. My family depends on me! I just feel like crying at times and push myself to keep going. Somehow I find a little more go. My employees have found me asleep in homes were I just couldn't go anymore. Exhausted, I stretch out and fall asleep on someones carpet.

If only we could open a book and get all of our answers... Makes me think of a song " What a Wonderful World"!

Sorry for going on and on... my husband has enough to deal with.
Take care!
