Spinal Meningitis?

I was sick about a week ago. I got a cold sore, was achy and tired, and had sinus pain. I had a doctors appointment for an unrelated reason and the doctor noticed the glands in my neck were swollen. I pretty much shrugged it off and witthin a few days I was feeling better. But now, about a week since I was sick, I've been having sinus headaches during the early morning and late at night, my neck is stiff and sore, my joints hurt, my whole body aches, I have no energy, I'm always tired, and I've had back pains and shooting shoulder pains. This has been going on for about three days. I really don't know what is wrong with me. Usually, if I have a cold or sinus problem it's gone within a week or so and doesn't go away and then reappear as this did. Could I have something else wrong with me or am I fine? Are these even symptoms of spinal meningitis?

Thanks for the advice! I've been slowly feeling better, though I still get headaches everyday. My neck is not as stiff and I'm not as sore. I think I'll be fine.

Hi, the most important finding in meningitis is high grade fever along with neck stiffness (patient is not able to touch his chin to chest), in your case I presume fever is absent which goes against meningitis.

Please start antibiotic therapy with augmentin as you are having sinusitis along with swollen glands. Your symptoms suggest viral etiology, do consult doctor and get investigations done.
