Temporal pressure
Onset of temporal pressure, bilateral in healthy 57 year old female. History of sinus problems. No headache, yet only symptom is nerve type pain only with quick side-to side rapid movement of the head. Feels as if knife like pain upon movement through the temporal area of the head.
Thank you for your response. The onset was sudden and is tolerable but becoming a real irritation. I will take your advice if no relief is apparent.

It looks like a nerve problem (occipital nerve), although at times chronic sinusits can lead to temporal pain but it is rare. In maority of cases of sinusitis, the pain is due to involvement of trigeminal nerve. Sinus pain is often felt in the face around the eyes, upper cheeks, and the forehead. It's advisable that you see your neurologist.
